Summer is in full swing and therefore, it’s time to make the most of it. The best way to make the most of your summer is to get on the water, especially for those residing in Michigan. Wherever you are in this beautiful state, you’re likely not more than 10 minutes away from a lake.

That means you should spend time with your family on one of Michigan’s numerous lakes. There’s no better way to celebrate the beautiful weather than cruising around the lake on a pontoon boat. To make it even better, cruise around the lake on the Michigan-made Crest pontoons.

These boats are built to give you the best experience on the water from the comfort and style to the construction of the boat. Now that you know a pontoon is right for you, it’s time to understand the price.

This will help determine if a Crest pontoon is right for you and your family. The price can vary between models is important to decide which model is the best option for you. Keep reading to learn about the different factors that can alter the price of a Crest pontoon.

What is MSRP?

First, it’s important to understand the term MSRP, or Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price. Every boat comes with MSRP pricing based on what the manufacturer determines the boat is worth. Though, it’s not uncommon to pay a little less than MSRP on a boat.

Here at Action Water Sports, we often run promotions throughout the year to get you the best deal on a Crest. Check out our website or stop in your local Action Water Sports for the most accurate pricing related to MSRP.

What Factors May Influence Price?

It’s important to note that there are several factors that will alter the price of a Crest. These factors are variable and can cause drastic changes in the final price of the boat. These factors are –

  • Series and Family
  • Engine
  • Options and Upgrades

What Are the Series of Crest Boats?

Crest pontoons have a total of four different families of boats. Each is built to be the perfect boat for different families. As you move through the families of boats, you’ll notice a difference in features, designs, and technology.

Based on the families of Crest boats, there is a separation in price. This is because of the standards that are found on each family of these Crest boats.

Classic Series – Signature Family

The Signature Family is made up of the Classic series Crest boats. Within this family of pontoons, there are three different models with several floorplans available on each model. These boats are known for their comfort and simplicity which is perfect for many families.

Starting at a price of $44,900 or $389/month*, the signature family is priced to get everyone on the water. Check out a Classic Crest at Action Water Sports of Fenton.

The final family available is the electric family. As implied by the name, these boats are fully electric. With only one model, the Current, these boats are the eco-friendly version of your favorite pontoon.

The Crest Current starts at a price of $52,900 or $405*. This is the boat for you if you are looking for an eco-friendly option to enjoy time on the water this summer.

What is the Cost of the Motor?

Since these are pontoon boats, they will be equipped with outboard motors. The best part about outboard motors is their large diversity in horsepower. You can equip your boat with a small motor to put around the lake or you can get a large, powerful motor that will challenge V-hull boats on your lake.

The variation in size and horsepower will cause a variation in price as well. Crest offers several different brands of engines as well, which will also cause a difference in price. For the best information regarding the price of motors, talk to your salesperson at Action Water of Fenton. They will be able to provide the most accurate pricing information for a motor on a Crest pontoon.

How Do Options and Upgrades Affect Price?

Crest values the ability to customize your boat which means there are many options and upgrades available. You’re able to make your Crest the dream boat that is perfect for you and your family. Though, it’s worth noting that many options and upgrades will add to the overall price of your boat.

While there are a number of great options available, Crest values the importance of standards as well. It’s important to know what you and your family expect out of your boat when choosing what options are going to make this your dream boat.

Visit Crest’s Design a Boat Center to see what options and upgrades are available. When you have your dream boat picked out, you can then have a better understanding of the overall price of the boat.
