It’s that time of the year again when MasterCraft releases their 2025 models and innovations. For some, this is the most exciting time of the year as the newest boats are being released.
Whether you look forward to this time of year or you’re just curious about what’s changed, we’re here to keep you in the loop. This year, MasterCraft has released some big changes and innovations. With that, let’s talk about what is new for this year.
1. New Helm
One exciting new innovation presented this year is the all-new helm on the MasterCraft wake boats. The X and XT received an upgrade this year to create the best user experience in the industry.
X Helm
The new X series helm features a dual screen setup with a 15-inch panoramic center display paired with a 12-inch touchscreen to the right of the helm. The new helm features an upgraded interface with surf/wake/foil preset profiles.
Along with the redesign, you can view and full-screen camera of the stern to watch riders getting in and out of the water. This new helm design brings new innovations and technology to the 2025 X series boats.
XT Helm
Redesigned for 2025 models, the XT helm features a redesigned helm with a low-profile dash. This allows drivers to see clearly through the windshield while sitting comfortably in the drivers seat.
New on the XT helm is the premium 12-inch touchscreen to the right of the dash. This touchscreen allows you to easily control wake/surf/foil profiles. Experience this new technology for yourself on a new 2025 XT MasterCraft.
2. MasterCraft MyDrive
One of the most anticipated innovations featured on 2025 MasterCraft models is the MasterCraft MyDrive. This is a rotary encoder with hot keys that puts frequently used functions at your fingertips. Easily adjust things such as speed, wave size, and which side the wave is on with this feature.
It is standard on all XT and X models.
3. New Standard Engine
The 6.0L standard engine for MasterCraft boats has been replaced with the 5.3L GDI HO engine. This engine provides superior performance and up to 15% improved fuel efficiency. This engine will provide NXT and XT boats with improved performance for everyone on board. *Some early MY25 NXT models will ship with the legacy 6.0L engine with no guarantee that in-stock units will have the 5.3L.
4. New Gelcoat and Vinyl Offering
With the new model year releases, new gelcoat and vinyl colors have also been released. Customize your MasterCraft with your favorite colors inside and out. Here are the new gelcoat colors available for 2025 models:
5. NXT FasterFill
A new feature specific to the NXT series is the NXT FasterFill system. This system features an extra ballast pump which allows ballast to fill in under nine minutes.
This feature makes wait times between leaving the dock and surfing much shorter. Allowing for more time to surf/wakeboard/foil depending on what your favorite water sport is.
6. Stern Thruster
The stern thruster has been around for a few years. However, this is the first model year that the stern thruster is available on XT models. Previously, it was only available on X model Mastercrafts.
This feature provides enhanced handling during docking and rider pick-ups resulting in an overall improved experience for the captain. Once you try out a stern thruster, you won’t ever want to boat without this helpful feature.
7. Underwater Exhaust
The newest standard feature on all NXT, XT, and X MasterCraft models is the underwater exhaust. This feature reduces noise and fumes resulting in improved air quality and it allows for better music and conversation while cruising.
8. Fresh Air Intake
New for every MasterCraft is the fresh-air intake. This system allows for more power, improved efficiency, and better overall performance. This feature allows MasterCraft boats to provide the best rides and performance in the industry.
