The Cobalt A36

The Cobalt A36 is the epitome of luxury and comfort on the water. With a sporty coupe-top design, the A36 resembles the look of a high-end sports car but has all the characteristics and features of a bowrider.

Cobalt created the A36 for those who have an adventurous spirit but still enjoy all of today’s modern comforts. Today we’ll be taking a detailed look at the A36’s features, design, and overall functionality.

Hull Design & Luxurious Interior
From the tip of the bow to the end of the hydraulic swim platform in the rear, the Cobalt A36 measures out to 35 feet 11 inches. This gives the A36 a very spacious and relaxed feel when on board.

Designed with a Kevlar-reinforced Deep-V hull, this boat can easily cut through rough waters like a hot knife through butter. For our Michigan customers, this is perfect for heading out onto Lake Michigan and cruising between Holland, Grand Haven, or Saugatuck.

The hydraulic swim platform creates an easily accessible way to enter the boat from the water. Our customers love this feature because even the family pet can take a dip in the water and easily enter the boat afterward.

When it comes to luxurious interiors, Cobalt didn’t pull any punches with the A36. All interior seating features double French stitching that emphasizes style and durability on the water.

Optional Features
There are a multitude of different optional features when it comes to the A36. Today we’ll highlight a few that our customers really enjoy and how best to use them on the water.

Wet Bar

First off let’s begin with the optional wet bar. This wet bar includes storage, a refrigerator, grill, and television. The television can be equipped with satellite streaming so you can catch the game even out on the water. This T.V. can be raised and lowered with the push of a button. This provides extra bar space when the T.V. is not in use.

Full Canvas Enclosure

This is a great option for those who like to enjoy late evenings out on the water. The full canvas enclosure installs around the cockpit and aft of the A36. This enclosure keeps pesky insects and rainwater out. As well as retains heat or air conditioning depending on outdoor temperatures.

Transom Shower

No one wants to bring the beach back in the boat with them, so this conveniently located shower allows you to wash yourself off before entering the boat. The shower handle can be easily stowed in the walkway. This storage location keeps water towards the swim platform and away from the cockpit.

Functionality
When it comes to functionality the Cobalt A36 is in a class of its own. Its state of the art helm equipped with a dual 12” touch screens, digital compass, and optional docking joystick makes the A36 a real pleasure to drive.

The 12” displays (16” displays are an option as well.) highlight GPS navigation controls, depth and water temperature, and so much more.

The docking joystick located underneath the throttle controls makes docking a breeze. With just slight movements on the joystick, even novice mariners can dock without fear of damaging the side of the boat.

If you’re looking for the ultimate combination of sport and style then look no further than the Cobalt A36. All its incredible features combined with 50 years of Cobalt heritage and expertise make the A36 a must-see on the water.
