MasterCraft completely redesigned the XT23 for model year 2022. The 23-foot surf boat now has integrated transom seating, endless color-matching options with all-new towers, and cockpit phone chargers. Check out the redesigned XT23.

By the Numbers

The XT23 is 23’4” long, has an 8.5-foot beam, and can hold 16 passengers. For 2022, XT23 boasts 3,300 lbs of ballast, 700 lbs more than previous model years. In addition to more ballast, the redesigned XT23 has more freeboard, providing a deeper, more comfortable, and dryer ride no matter the water condition.

New Features for the Whole Family

Model year 2022 has been an exciting year for MasterCraft. They added a large variety of new features and innovations to their lineup. Most notably, MasterCraft’s introduced a new surf system, SurfStar. With its new intuitive design, SurfStar allows users to select a wave on a scale of one through seven. One is a very mellow beginner-friendly wake, and seven is a large, steep wake best for advanced riders. With SurfStar, you can find a wake for everyone in the family.

New Transom Features

MasterCraft added integrated transom seating and a transom walkthrough to the XT23, XT24, and XT22 for 2022. The transom walkthrough features a new seadek step pad to protect your vinyl from the wear and tear of passengers entering and exiting the boat. Overall, the steppad creates a seamless and easy transition from the cockpit to the transom.

And the new integrated transom seating provides the best seat in the house. The transom seating comes with the standard sliding base and optional sun-pad flip seating.

Tower Options

All three of MasterCraft’s new Z series towers can be equipped on the XT23. Stay with the standard Z6 tower that features swivel clamping board racks or upgrade to the Z8 hydro-lock tower or Z10 power tower for a premium experience. And with the Z8 and Z10 towers, you can customize the Chromax inlays with 15 different color combinations.

Each MasterCraft tower comes equipped with the easiest-to-deploy bimini in the industry. Quickly add some shade and take a break from the sun with this easy to maneuver feature.

Cockpit Phone Holders

Keep your cups in the cupholder and your phones in the phone holders. The new cockpit phone holders on the XT23 are great for keeping your phone out of the sun and protected from the water. Or upgrade the cockpit phone holders to include wireless chargers so your phone can stay charged all day.

Engine Options

The XT23 comes standard with a 6.0L 380 HP Ilmor marine grade engine. The 23-foot boat can also be equipped with a 6.3L 430 HP GDI engine. Don’t forget that all Ilmor engines come with an unprecedented 7-year, 1,000-hour warranty.

Does This Sound Good?

Like the rest of the XT series, the XT23 is for the boater that wants more customization but doesn’t want to pay for excess standard options. The XT23 comes in the classic standard bow, so if you’re looking for a pickle-fork option, check out the XT20, XT22, or XT24. Overall, the XT23 is great for boating with larger groups on mid-size inland lakes, but the 23-foot boat can still be easily towed and used on larger waterways.

Pricing

As for price, the 2022 XT23 starts surf-ready at $152,250. Typically, our customers with the most commonly selected options pay between $170,000 to $190,000 for an XT23. A fully loaded model will typically fall at the higher end of that price range.
