Our Fenton location services the Metro Detroit boating community and carry premier brands such as MasterCraft, Cobalt, and Crest Pontoons. Key Roles Include:
– Consulting individuals/families with the process of purchasing a boat
– Conducting test drives and demonstrations on all models
– Following up with leads in a timely manner
– Adhere to Action Water Sport’s sales processes
– Utilize and maintain customer information with the CRM system (Salesforce)
– Greeting customers and developing relationships
– Answering the phone
– Assisting in the pro shop when necessary

– 2+ Years of retail sales or equivalent
– Proven sales history
– Experience with Salesforce
– Outstanding communication skills
– Boating industry experience is preferred

SERVICE TECHNICIAN

CENTRAL FLORIDA LOCATION

We are looking for a certified marine technician to join our Central Florida team.

Tasks Include:
– Repairing and replacing parts
– Examine boats to determine extent of damage or malfunctions
– Review work orders and discuss work with service writers
– Disassemble units and inspect parts for wear, using a computer
– Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer’s performance specifications
– Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined
– Attend training when needed
– Assist in other areas when needed

Communicating with customers and service personnel to identify and procure parts needed. Additionally responsibilities include assisting with inventory management and parts sales for the multiple brands we represent.

WATERFRONT EQUIP. SERVICE TEAM MEMBER

HUDSONVILLE LOCATION

We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our dock and lift team. This individual will be part of a industry leading team tasked to complete all assigned dock and lift installations, removals and any additional waterfront services provided by AWS on time and above the customers expectations.

– Installing, removing or servicing new & used waterfront equipment as assigned
– Use product knowledge to recognize and advise customers on needed repairs or possible upgrades

– Help in other areas as need at Action Water Sports (Boat Show, Company events, etc.)
– Be in the right place (AWS store or worksite) at the right time (10 min. early) in the right uniform (dock & lift shirts, wetsuit, personal and assigned tools)

– Customizing waterfront equipment per customer request
– Carrying or moving dock/boat lifts in or out of the water
– Stacking waterfront equipment neat and organized on shore
– Working with other crew members to complete all tasks assigned
– Demonstrate, train or explain assembly or use of equipment to customers when requested or instructed
– Report infractions of rules or regulations to Field Supervisor

TRAVERSE CITY LOCATION

Assist customers in equipping their lakeshore with Docking and or Boat Lifts that best fits their wants and needs. Manage customers’ expectations while scheduling and coordinating deliveries, assemblies and installations with installers.

-Understand and have fluent product knowledge of brands we sell and how they would meet customer’s needs
